A Sneak Peek of NBC's 'Harry Potter: The Making of Diagon Alley'
What's This?
Listen up Muggles, here's your chance to see how magic is made.
Today Show's Meredith Vieira has gone behind the scenes at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida, in anticipation of the July 8 opening of the park's new attractions.
In the NBC special, Vieira talks with the creative team who brought places like Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Diagon Alley to life. Harry Potter film actors Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), among others, will also speak with Vieira about their favorite parts of the park.
"Young people will feel that they are actually in it, they're in the movie, they're in the story," the Dark Lord (Fiennes) says. "With the physical reality and the visual reality around them...you can almost reach out and want to touch it. I think it'll be something they'll never forget."
Start practicing your spells — the special airs on NBC Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
