Your Favorite Movie Scenes, Recreated With Lego

What's This?

When most of us play with Lego, we create grotesque, disproportionate and multi-colored abominations of architecture.

That's not Alex Eylar's style.

Eylar is a certifiable Lego master, known throughout Reddit as user ICanLegoThat. Based out of Hollywood, it's no surprise that one of his favorite hobbies is recreating iconic movie scenes with Lego bricks. From old standards like Casablanca to new hits like Looper, the only real prerequisite for a scene getting Lego'd seems to be that Eylar likes it.

"The scenes generally take about an hour to build and shoot," Eylar told Mashable. The devoted online Lego community inspired him to dust off his childhood collection and start building with a bit more complexity. Using only a $12 Ikea lamp for lighting, the recreations are so perfect it's eerie.
