A Clairvoyant Seahawks Fan Got His Super Bowl Tattoo Months Ago
What's This?
There are confident sports fans — and then there's Tim Connors.
Connors, a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan, got a tattoo commemorating his team's Super Bowl XLVIII championship. But here's the thing: That happened in August, months before the team had even played a game this season, according to ESPN.
Here's a photo that SportsCenter shared during Sunday night's game:
Local Seattle news station KOMO caught up with Connors the week before the game, when the sports world was steeling itself for a hotly contested Super Bowl matchup between the Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.
“I’m not crazy,” Connors told KOMO before the game. “I’m not crazy at all.”
As it turns out, he was right. Seattle scored a rare safety on the game's first possession, absolutely dominated Denver from the getgo and coasted to a 43-8 win in one of the most lopsided Super Bowl results of all time.
Better yet, Connors was there to watch the game in person; he shared this selfie with ESPN's Darren Rovell during the game.
Below, watch KOMO's full video report on Connors:
Perhaps he should get some lottery numbers inked on his arm next.
