Dwight Howard Smacks Down Twitter Troll With Devastating Comeback

What's This?

Dwight Howard, ladies and gentlemen. The biggest prize of this summer's NBA free agent frenzy left the Los Angeles Lakers for the Houston Rockets last month, earning him plenty of ill will among L.A. diehards.

So when one Lakers fan known simply as "Brittni" on Twitter digitally attacked his chances of winning an elusive NBA title and its accompanying finger ornament, how did Howard react? Did he thank her for supporting him in his one season in Los Angeles? Did he take the high road and simply ignore the negative tweet? Hell to the no.

Instead, Howard shot back with possibly the most impressive comeback in NBA history, outdoing the sweaty on-court heroics of Jordan, Bryant, Bird and many of the game's all-time greats with the simple chirp of a tweet:

Let's all give Dwight Howard a slow clap here, folks. If there's any justice in the sports world, this moment will be included in his NBA Hall of Fame induction one day right alongside a career's worth of points, rebounds and blocked shots.

Do you think Howard's reply was funny, or was it nothing more than a low blow? Give us your take in the comments.
