Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter often bear the blame for ruining the minds of a generation. But not everyone sees it that way. Author and comedian B.J. Novak, for one, thinks that social media could be responsible for the best generation of writers our society has ever seen.

Join B.J. Novak and the MashableReads community this Friday at 6 p.m. ET for a Google Hangout where we'll discuss Novak's debut short story collection, One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories, as well as the changing place of literature in the digital age.
