Facebook Briefly Goes Down for Some Users

It wasn't just you — Facebook briefly went down for some users on Friday afternoon. The social network experienced technical issues for many members trying to log onto the site.

The news comes as Facebook celebrated its tenth birthday. Maybe it's getting a jump start on its moody adolescence.

Facebook's developer webpage shows a real-time chart revealing how the response time is nearly double it's typical rate.

Facebook has not yet responded to a request for comment.
