Nancy Pelosi may be House Minority Leader, but she was majorly interested in one reporter's Google Glass.

When NBC News producer Frank Thorp asked Pelosi about immigration reform, she replied, "I'll answer that if you tell us about your glasses."

"They're Google glasses," Thorp replied.

Pelosi represents California's 12th congressional district in San Francisco, Calif., a direct neighbor to the 14th district which encompasses Google's headquarters in Mountain View.

Thorp later wrote that he wore Google Glass around Capital Hill for several days, garnering mixed reviews from members of Congress. Apparently, House Speaker John Boehner doesn't approve of the gadget.

Pelosi, however, seemed unfazed when she learned Thorp was filming her, and the ensuing exchange brought about a moment of levity.

"It's good," Pelosi said. "It's telling mom — your family — what you're going to eat for lunch as soon as you look down at your lunch."

"No, my mom made me lunch, so she knows," Thorp replied.

Turning the tables again, Pelosi asks, "But will you eat it?"

The congresswoman tweeted about the exchange, including an embedded YouTube video.

For a better viewing experience, NBC spliced Thorp's #ThroughGlass video with footage taken with a traditional camera.
