71 Songs That Bring You Back to College

On the quad. At a campus concert. At a frat party. On the college radio station. In your dorm room. There are certain songs that can instantly transport you back to your college days.

With college dorm move-in just around the corner, we asked Mashable staff and readers which songs reminded them of the days of dining halls, quadding, football games, red Solo cups and on-campus demonstrations — whether they graduated two months ago or two decades ago.

Every college experience is different, which is how we ended up with this massive, eclectic playlist of more than 70 songs. From the emotional "All My Friends" by LCD Soundsystem to the silly "Ms. New Booty" by Bubba Sparxx, and all the life-changing (The Shins' "New Slang"), groovy (Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy"), sing-along (Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life") songs in between, we've covered the range of collegiate memories to guide you into back-to-school season.

How to Share Your Song With Us

1. To follow Mashable on Spotify, click here. If a popup window asks if you want to launch an external application, say yes. It just means that the browser is opening up Spotify.

2. Follow Mashable, or just send us music by clicking "Send Music."

3. To send music while browsing tracks in Spotify, follow the MashableHQ account. Then right click (ctrl + click) on the song you want to send, and click the "Share..." option.

4. By default, Spotify pulls up the "Post to Feed" option. Instead, select the "Send to Friend" tab, type in "MashableHQ" and hit the blue "Send" button.
