Before celebrating its approaching fourth season at a Comic-Con panel, Game of Thrones paid homage to all the characters who died in the HBO series' first three seasons.

Set to Boyz II Men’s "It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," the "In Memoriam" video recaps the final moments of the show's deceased characters, including everyone from Viserys Targaryen and King Robert Baratheon to "Stable Boy." It closes with the words, "The North Remembers."

Executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, writer and co-executive producer George R.R. Martin and stars Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and John Bradley West (Samwell Tarly) were reportedly on hand for the panel, which kicked off after the memorial footage.

The Red Wedding was a major talking point for the panel, as was Martin's writing process for the sixth and seventh novels of his A Song of Ice and Fire book series, from which the show is adapted. Martin reportedly said that he's rushing to finish the latest installments before the TV show catches up to him. The author added that he's also considering writing a prequel.
