A Greek alum and a newcomer will bring two popular Frozen characters to life on the upcoming season of Once Upon a Time.

The show has cast Scott Michael Foster and Elizabeth Lail to play reindeer-loving charmer Kristoff and bubbly younger sister Anna, respectively, Mashable confirms. The casting was first reported by TVLine.

Still uncast is the role of ice queen Elsa, who in the last moments of the season finale was seen from behind and set up as a possible foe.

Newcomer Elizabeth Lail, left, has been cast as "Frozen" fave Anna in "Once Upon a Time."

Once Upon a Time is known for bringing well-loved characters from classic tales into the show but putting a twist on their backstories. Last season, for example, Peter Pan was brought onto the show and set up as the season's big bad. (He was also, spoiler alert, later revealed to be the time-trapped father of Rumplestilskin.)

In this case, it appears Once will take some liberties from the story but also acknowledge events from the movie. According to TVLine's description, viewers will see Krisoff "adjusting to life at the castle," when he is first introduced.

While Foster is best known for his role as Cappie on ABC Family's Greek, he's also appeared in quickly cancelled conspiracy thriller Zero Hour and currently appears on Chasing Life. This is newcomer Lail's first big credit.
