What's This?

Big Brother's "twistiest" season ever began Wednesday night with a one-hour premiere that, really, should have been two hours. Why? Because introducing just half of the 16 contestants set to enter the home was a cruel tease. But perhaps they were easing viewers into the idea of giving up three hours of their lives a week to the most addicting reality show of the summer.
Whatever. We're ready.
The same can be said about the eight contestants introduced in the season premiere by the ever voluminously haired Julie Chen. You know the first episode drill: A bunch of strangers from all walks of life — and all IQ classifications — mosey into the Big Brother home, form a "we were here first" alliance and quickly proceed to form alliances within that alliance.
One of those sub-alliances that emerged was a quartet of ladies who dubbed themselves "El Quatro." The next few weeks will determine if they're Brigade-level awesome or even Four Horsemen. So far — again, after just one hour with them — there are doubts about their strength. Why? It's all explained in this Big Brother House Hazard Index, ranked from biggest threat to smallest.
Amber
Why she's dangerous: She threw the first HOH competition, which was great strategy. Athletic and apparently forward-thinking, everyone in the house should have their eye on Amber.
Best advice: She should lay low in the next competition and maybe take some acting lessons because it was a little too obvious that she threw that competition.
Amber Borzotra, 26, is an Esthetician from Knoxville, Tenn., who currently lives in North Hollywood, Calif.

Frankie
Why he's dangerous: As the first HOH, Frankie, brother of singer Ariana Grande, is angling himself to be an early power player. That — and his apparent inability to tone down his grande attitude — could come back to bite him later, though.
Best advice: He should stop worrying so much about whether or not people will recognize him from YouTube (Spoiler alert: They won't) and focus on his image within the house.
Frankie Grande, 31, is a YouTube Personality from New York City. He's also singer Ariana Grande's brother.

Devin
Why he's dangerous: Devin's Dwayne Johnson-like physique may make him popular among female housemates but as a player, it works against him. Other players, especially the next bunch of eight, will likely see him as a big physical threat.
Best advice: He should play up the fact that he's a single dad. It will help him rebrand from Brute Force to Giant Teddy Bear.
Devin Shepherd, 26, is a former professional baseball player and motorcycle sales manager from Santa Barbara, Calif., who currently lives in San Antonio, Texas.

Paola
Why she's dangerous: This selfie-taking DJ — and self-proclaimed "leader" of her crew of friends back home — has a big personality, which can either be a detriment or make her one of the popular kids in the house. If she secretly has intelligence on top of that, she has the potential to become a power player.
Best advice: She shouldn't let anyone else see her doing simple math on her fingers again.
Paola Shea, 27, is a DJ from East Hampton.

Cody
Why he's dangerous: Cody's a good looking guy and immediately attracts a lot of attention. That makes it harder to fly under the radar in the early rounds. But aside from that, he seems to be more than a pretty face — and we're not saying that just because he can subtract without his fingers.
Best advice: Don't sleep with anyone in the house. At least wait a few weeks.
Cody Calafiore, 23, is a sales account executive from Hackensack, N.J.

Donny
Why he's dangerous: With his Duck Dynasty beard and simple man demeanor, this Pop Tart-lover makes himself easy to trust. Those kinds of players have gone far in the competition before.
Best advice: Be friends with everyone.
Donny Thompson, 42, a school groundskeeper from Albemarle, N.C.

Joey
Why she's dangerous: She's part of "El Quatro."
Best advice: Don't talk politics. In her intro video, she declared herself a passionate liberal democrat and while that's all good for her, you don't want to go into the Big Brother house with any sort of strong convictions that could alienate you from someone else. Sometimes even the people within your alliance.
Joey Van Pelt, 27, is a makeup artist from Seattle, Wash.

Nicole
Why she's dangerous: She not. She's afraid of ghosts, wears overalls in what appears to be a non-hipster way, and is probably the most replaceable member of "El Quatro." As of night one, she has nothing to bring to the Quatro table.
Best advice: Float.
Nicole Franzel, 21, is a recent nursing graduate from Ubly, Mich.
