What's This?

If you've ever had the urge to wear your favorite photo as a pattern on your shoes, then your dream is about to come true.
Adidas is teasing an app for its ZX Flux sneakers that would let you take a photo with your mobile device and then have it printed on a pair of shoes, which you can purchase when the app goes live in August.
"Brands have given customers the ability to customize and personalize their shoes for more than a decade, but this is absolutely game changing. Never has anyone been able to personalize a shoe to this level," says Matt Halfhill, founder and CEO of sneaker blog Nice Kicks . "The technology for this essentially makes adidas product the canvas for personalization and branding the way a blank T-shirt is for wearables. Endless possibilities with this technology."
