Rabbi, Boy Scout Leader and a Mother Arrested in Online Child Porn Bust

A rabbi, a little league coach, a Boy Scout troop leader, police officers, firefighters and nurses are among the 70 people charged with creating and distributing child pornography in the New York City area.

Authorities made the arrests on Wednesday after a team of NYPD officers and agents from the Department of Homeland Security busted the child porn ring in an investigation that took nearly one month, according to ABC.

Agents set up a website requesting explicit images of children and watched as dozens of people sent in illegal photos. They've also taken computers and hard drives from those they have arrested and plan to use any information they find therein to make more arrests throughout the country.

The arrestees also include a New Jersey mother who is accused of making her children pose in explicit ways on Skype. Victims range from age 17 to less than a year old.

NYPD and DHS officials are expected to announce their findings at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
