In a deep, dark corner of Reddit, a battle rages daily.

But this isn't a typical Internet war that you're used to seeing in the YouTube comments section. This war is about creativity, a competition in skill — a Photoshop battle.

The subreddit r/PhotoshopBattles is a community in which Reddit's best Photoshop wizards compete to alter user-submitted photos. On Thursday, an especially awesome battle unfolded.

It started with an image of a pigeon attacking a woman, which spawned a hilarious all-out art war between Redditors MySubtleKnife and osrule68.

Pigeon violence is nothing to laugh about — wait, never mind.
