LOS ANGELES — As host of the 86th Academy Awards, Ellen DeGeneres will be steering a barrage of celebrities onstage Sunday to present the coveted Oscar statuettes. They will join several musicians, who will perform tunes from the Best Song category and tributes.
The Oscars ceremony — which has a "heroes" theme to honor new and old movie heroes, superheroes and animated heroes — airs on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET from Dolby Theatre.
