Winter is over. Weeks of Spring Training have come and gone, and the smell of dirt and pine tar fill the air. It’s finally here: Major League Baseball’s Opening Day.

Whether you’re a Boston Red Sox fan enjoying the team’s third World Series title in the last 10 years, or a fan of the lowly Houston Astros, who are coming off a league-worst 51-111 record in 2013, the potential for a successful season fills each and every baseball fan with hope this time of year.
