Despite the ubiquity of smartphones and the forecast that global mobile traffic will grow exponentially over the next five years, PCs are still the device of choice for ecommerce in the U.S.
According to a Q4 2013 study from Monetate, 73.2% of visits to online shopping sites come from PC users, as opposed to 14.6% and 12.2% from tablets and smartphones, respectively.
