Her protagonist Theodore Twombly should be thankful that he lives in the near future so his operating system is a sultry and sweet girlfriend.

But what if the Spike Jonze film took place in 1995? Samantha (voiced by Scarlett Johansson) would be replaced by everyone's favorite Microsoft on-screen pal, Clippy. Favorite might be too strong a word.
