2. Jason Brown
Brown skated his way to viral fame with an epic performance on the ice earlier this month. The figure skater's enthusiasm is infectious — even online.
Ovechkin is a Russian NHL star facing immense pressure to lead the Games' host country to ice hockey gold.
4. NBC Olympics
NBC holds American broadcast rights for the Sochi Games, and will be covering them like a glove. Much of that information — from breaking results, to human interest features — will find its way here.

This is the International Olympics Committee's official Twitter account for the Games. It will be a great starting point to find interesting content online throughout the Winter Olympics.
8. Lolo Jones
Jones became a social media darling during the 2012 Summer Games, where she competed in her usual sport of hurdling. In a minor upset, she made the American women's bobsled team this winter and will look for her elusive first Olympic medal in Sochi.
9. Elana Meyers
Meyers isn't as high-profile as her bobsled teammate Jones, but she's fun, personable and active online — as evidenced by the more than 20,000 tweets to her name.

14. Tara Lipinski
Lipinski won a gold medal in figure skating as a 15-year-old at the 1988 Olympics. Now she's an NBC analyst covering the Games in Sochi.

The French Canadian speedskater tweets often in two languages.
16. Elias Ambühl
Ambühl is a 21-year-old from Switzerland who known for grabbing big air on his skies. Following his excitement about being in Sochi from afar should be a blast.

Subban plays for the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and will look to lead Team Canada to Olympics gold. You can count on him to rep his home country hard.
18. Kate Hansen
In January, Hansen gave the United States its first luge World Cup win in 16 years. In February, she'll try to make an equally impressive run at the Olympics. On Twitter, the 21-year-old is enthusiastic and down-to-Earth.
