Watch Linkin Park Perform Live at the Philippines Relief Concert
What's This?
LOS ANGELES — Fans of Linkin Park can live stream the band's performance at Music for Relief’s "Concert For The Philippines" on Saturday via a mobile app.
AXS, a digital entertainment ticketing platform, teamed up with Verizon to offer the stream on the AXS Mobile App for iOS and Android. The concert live stream begins Jan. 11 at 10:30 p.m. PT. Offspring and Bad Religion will also perform, but those acts won't be live streamed.
To access the concert stream, users must open the AXS app and click the "videos" icon on the bottom right side of the homepage. The bands will be performing from inside Club Nokia to help raise relief money for survivors of the Typhoon Haiyan, which ravaged the Philippines, killing more than 6,000 people and leaving millions homeless in November.
Below is a trailer for the concert, which will feature cameos from Heart, Travis Barker and The Filharmonic. TIckets to the show were given to people who donated or raised $250.
The proceeds will benefit survivors as well as the International Medical Corps for medical treatment to help thwart the spread of diseases.
"This landmark benefit show is an opportunity for rock fans everywhere to channel their love of music for the benefit of the Philippine people during a time of intense need," Whitney Showler, Music For Relief's chief operating officer, said in a statement.
