The U.S. Spent $3,356 Per Capita on ICT in 2013

The United States spent more money on information and communications technology than any other country in 2013, shelling out $3,356 per capita.

According to data from the European Information Technology Observatory, the U.S. outspent the UK, the second-highest per-capita spender, by more than $600.

In sharp contrast, China spent less than one-tenth of what the U.S. spent on ICT last year, with just $294 per capita.
