State-by-State Breakdown: Facebook Users Predict Golden Globe Winners

If Facebook users could vote on which nominees would win at Sunday's 71st Golden Globes, the victors in four major TV and film categories might surprise you.
Although in reality, only a handful of members from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association cast votes, many more people at home are placing bets on their predicted winners.
Based on Facebook activity from this week, the following films and shows would be the champions for each U.S. state:
1. Best TV Series, Drama
Breaking Bad and Downton Abbey are the clear frontrunners.

2. Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical
Parks and Recreation and Big Bang Theory are the favorites for Facebook users.

3. Best Picture, Drama
Racing film Rush is attracting the most buzz in this category.

4. Best Picture, Comedy or Musical
Her , a film about a man falling in love with his artificially intelligent operating system, is garnering much attention in most states, while the film Nebraska is resonating in, well, Nebraska.

The Golden Globes airs at 5 p.m. PT on NBC, with the red carpet beginning at 2:30 p.m. PT.
