Mia and Ronan Farrow Throw Shade at Woody Allen Golden Globes Tribute

Is there a Golden Globe for biggest social media burn of the night?

At Sunday's 71st Golden Globes, filmmaker Woody Allen, 78, was honored as the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. (The writer and director was not present; actress Diane Keaton accepted the award on his behalf.)

But not everyone was pleased with the decision.

Mia Farrow, who split with Allen in 1992 after 12 years together, dissed her ex passive-aggressively on Twitter during the tribute. Her criticisms stemming from a controversy involving Farrow's adopted daughter, Dylan, who accused Allen of molesting her 20 years ago. The court case against Allen was later dropped.

Ronan Farrow, widely believed to be the son of Allen and Farrow, had harsher words for Allen. This paternity issue was later disputed in a Vanity Fair article last year in which Mia suggested her son's biological father may be Frank Sinatra.

At the time of writing, Ronan's tweet had almost 10,000 retweets — including one from Mia — and 7,000 favorites. He also retweeted a link to the Vanity Fair article in which Dylan discussed the molestation claims.

Allen is not on Twitter and has not yet commented on the criticisms.

Ronan's tweet on Sunday may even beat out this one, from October:

Keaton singing "Make New Friends, But Keep the Old" during the acceptance speech just made things even more awkward.
