Director J.J. Abrams says the script for the next Star Wars movie is done and filming is set to start in May, according to USA Today.
"That's the current plan," said Abrams, who was attending the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Sunday. "We have our script and we're full steam ahead. Have script, will travel."
Abrams declined to share any details about the plot or the casting of the movie, Star Wars: Episode VII, which he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan, who co-wrote Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Abrams plans to travel to England to begin work on the new film.
Episode VII is set to premiere on Dec. 18, 2015. The film will be the first in the franchise since Disney bought Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion in 2012.
