Everything You Need to Know About Conan's (Fake) Illegitimate Son

What's This?

Is he, or isn't he? The Internet couldn't escape this question when 20-year-old Greg Keating posted a YouTube video this week claiming to be Conan O'Brien's abandoned son. Keating may have the same bright red hair and pale complexion as the late-night talk show host, but the video left viewers confused as to whether Keating meant the whole thing to be a joke.

Here are the so-called facts from the video:

1. Keating's red hair and pale skin. Obviously.

2. Keating's mother worked as a producer for a news show at 30 Rockefeller Plaza at the same time Conan worked there. She was fired from her job when she got pregnant.

3. Keating is "awkward around girls" and a "horrible dancer." Keating also does an impression of Conan's signature dance move.

One or two of these facts might be alluring, but unfortunately Keating's dry performance makes it hard to take him seriously. It's clear that Keating meant the video to be funny, but the claim was too sensational not to ask the father-in-question. Conan, of course, gave the perfect response:

Neve and Beckett are Conan's two actual children. Ronan Farrow is the son of Mia Farrow, and has faced his own questions of paternity. In a Vanity Fair piece published last year, Mia Farrow revealed that Ronan could be the son of Frank Sinatra, not Woody Allen.

Sadly for Keating, it seems like he is not the son of the famed funny-man. Perhaps he can use his striking resemblance to his advantage someday, but for now, the matter is put to bed.
