'Downton Abbey' Spoof Awkwardly Puts Lady Mary in TV Cop Drama

What will Michelle Dockery's next TV role be after portraying Lady Mary on Golden Globe-winning British period drama Downton Abbey ? Funny or Die imagines she'll trade in her dainty demeanor for a tougher attitude in a modern-day cop drama.

In the spoof (video above) Dockery plays detective Connie Tough in Tough Justice, a fictitious show on TNT that we somewhat wish were an actual drama series. The release of this funny clip coincides with Sunday's season four U.S. premiere of Downton Abbey.

Dockery, however, is having a hard time letting go of her Lady Mary habits in this cop role:
