Come and Give Turntable.fm the Sendoff It Deserves
What's This?
Monday is your last chance to rise to temporary stardom as a virtual DJ, and we're here to help you do so.
For the past couple of years, Turntable.fm let users create and join "rooms" where they took turns selecting music to play for everyone else in the virtual room.
While many users enjoyed the site's collaborative listening experience, Turntable.fm didn't bring in much revenue. The team recently announced that the site would shut down in order to launch Turntable Live, an interactive platform that allows fans to attend virtual concerts and chat with artists as they play music.
The announcement also explained how to export and save playlists created on Turntable.fm and notified users of the last day to use Turntable.fm in all its glory: Dec. 2.
We created our own Turntable.fm room for the day to give the platform a proper sendoff, so come join and play music with us here. We'll be kicking off at 4:30 p.m. ET. See you there!
