Passengers on Delta and JetBlue airlines can now use personal electronic devices, like iPods and Nexus 7 tablets, throughout the entire flight, including during takeoff and landing.

Both companies confirmed Friday that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved their requests to allow customers to use their gadgets. The FAA finally eased its regulations on the usage of electronic devices during flight on Thursday, after months of wrangling. JetBlue and Delta quickly filed their FAA requests shortly after the announcement in an effort to become the first airlines to take advantage of the rule change.
