Looking to get your hands on a new iPad? Be thankful if you don't live in Argentina, where the tablet devices are the most expensive in the world.


A 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi and Retina display will set you back $1,094.11, according to data from CommSec. That's more than double the cost of the same device in the United States, where it's sold for $499.
