LG Frames Its 55-Inch OLED TV Like a Painting
What's This?
LG has announced it would have a wide variety of new audio and video gadgets on display at IFA Berlin, held September 6-11, and it's already starting to deliver.
The company just announced a wall-mountable 55-inch OLED TV, called LG Gallery, which is styled so it resembles a painting.
For art lovers, the TV's Gallery Mode displays high-res digital images of legendary paintings by artists such as Paul Gaugain and Vincent van Gogh. The frame of the device is not just for show, either — hidden in it are stereo speakers and two subwoofers.
LG is no stranger to odd and innovative designs — its retro-styled TV and curved OLED TV are good examples.
