Apple released the highly anticipated iPhone 5C on Tuesday and, as Jony Ive said, it's "beautifully, unapologetically plastic." Sound like anyone else you know?

The original "plastics" — Regina, Gretchen, Karen and Cady — were clearly the inspiration behind the newest budget gadget, available in five fluorescent colors complete with a hole-punched silicon casing. While Apple may think it has discovered the secret to being plastic, you can't really be popular without the stamp of approval from the core four Mean Girls .
