YouTube user schnooleheletteletto uploaded this mysterious clip in mid-Aug., but it wasn't until Sept. 9 that it gained traction on Reddit, reaching 448,045 views and spending hours at the top spot on r/videos.

Since going viral, the clip has inspired multiple pop-culture spinoffs of the original, featuring Breaking Bad and your favorite surprised sea creature.
