The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Team Blasts Into 'Disney Infinity 2.0'

Like any good blockbuster tie-in, Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film will be integrated as a play set in the next Disney Infinity title.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will feature toys and a full interactive adventure starring Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot and Drax. The toys will also integrate into Disney Infinity's freeform Toy Box mode.

Guardians of the Galaxy toys for Disney Infinity: Marvel Heroes.

The next generation of Disney Infinity will also feature two other Marvel play sets — The Avengers and Spider-Man — and each is a multi-hour adventure starring the heroes and villains of that world. Other Disney characters appearing in the game for the first time include Tinker Bell, blue alien Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, Merida from Brave and the evil Maleficent. All Disney Infinity version one toys will work in the next game's Toy Box mode.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy arrives in theaters Aug. 1, and Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will come out this fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
