Self-Serve Beer Stations Designed for All-Stars
What's This?
Anyone headed to Minnesota's Target Field for next week's MLB All-Star festivities can expect a hoppy new addition: two self-serve beer stations.
The DraftServ machines, which are a collaboration from Delaware North and Anheuser-Busch, will be located on the main concourse. The self-serve stations will offer fans the option of four beers: Bud and Bud Light for $0.38 per ounce and Shock Top Lemon Shandy and Goose Island 312 Urban Pale Ale for $0.40 per ounce. Customers can specify how many ounces they want in their glasses.
The beverages will be payable via prepaid card at the register in increments of $5, $10 and $20.
You might think that means easy access for under-21-year-olds. But all customers will still be subject to age verification at two points during the transaction. America!
