Owners of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will soon be able to play Grand Theft Auto V .
Rockstar Games revealed Tuesday that the popular open-world game — which in just three days after its initial release for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September became the fastest video game to gross $1 billion — will arrive on those new consoles sometime this fall.
This edition will include new wildlife, weather scenarios, damage effects and other additional details, while the PC version will feature a video editor for movie-making.
Gamers will still get to play as three protagonists: Michael, Franklin and Trevor, who must complete heists to enhance their lives in the fictional southern California city of Los Santos.
Mashable's gaming reporter Chelsea Stark ranked Grand Theft Auto V as No. 2 on her 10 Best Games of 2013 list.
"GTA V succeeds at being dauntingly vast and yet perfectly aware of the importance of every detail," Stark wrote. "It achieved a modern game world that takes a sardonic look at our own lives that still gave players a fantasy to get lost in."
