Shredder Wreaks Havoc in Michael Bay's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Reboot

In the new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, New York City needs new heroes to defeat the villainous Shredder and his menacing Foot Clan.

Amid the destruction, intrepid reporter April O'Neil (played by Megan Fox) meets the shell-clad heroes and subsequently faints, though she'll eventually team up with the turtles to save NYC. "Heroes are not born — they're created," the 90-second trailer for the Michael Bay reboot reminds viewers.

The film, which hits theaters Aug. 8, also stars Will Arnett as cameraman Vern Fenwick, William Fichtner as Shredder, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo and Danny Woodburn as Splinter.
