YouTube videos are the glue that hold this modern Internet society together. Without them, where would we be? Watching cats in real life instead?

YouTube is such a force in today's culture that everyone with access to a computer knows and recognizes the emotions that accompany watching and sharing videos. Whether it's depicting a skateboarding cat or hot air balloon tightrope walkers, the cycle of emotions that accompanies the videos is pretty much always the same.
