Printer Jams to 'Eye of the Tiger'

What's This?

Printers never rocked so hard.

Dot matrix printers were once the go-to choice for home and personal printing. Sure they're loud and slow, but in the '90s, dot matrix printers were a cheap and versatile way for people to print documents. Little did we know, they could also play music.

With some small modifications to a MIDI file — a technology that allows digital instruments and computers to communicate with each other — the loud tones created by the printer can be controlled.

It comes as no surprise that this vintage printer is rockin' out to a classic song, sort of like a parent's nostalgia-induced attempt to influence their child's musical preferences. Ladies and gentlemen, a printed rendition of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger."
