Whoever said figure skating isn't very manly may need to take another look at Evgeni Plushenko.

The Russian figure skater's famous "Sex Bomb" routine got a modern, steamy update with Ginuwine's "Pony" — you know, the one Channing Tatum stripped to. The remix comes courtesy of SB Nation's managing editor Brian Floyd.

The quality of the 2001 taping might even make you believe those are Plushenko's real muscles. The Olympic skater joined others in the men's short program on Thursday in Sochi.

Spoiler: Plushenko abruptly withdrew from the Sochi Olympics, just as he was about to perform on Thursday, due to medical reasons. The skater, who has previously had multiple back surgeries, landed awkwardly on a triple axel during warmups.
