Canon Offers a Dual Capture Powershot Camera

One of the most frustrating things for families looking to capture special moments is the fact that, unless you know your way around a timer, at least one person is always left out of the shot.

Canon has just presented another solution to that problem by introducing a dual capture camera that allows photographers to be captured at the same time as their subjects.

The Powershot N100 uses an additional rear camera to photograph and superimpose a photo of the photographer over any image the photographer takes. And the feature isn’t limited to still photos, it also works for video as well.

Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and NFC capabilities, the 12-megapixal camera also has a 5x optical zoom, offering the equivalent of a 24-120mm lens. With the ability to shoot 1080p HD video via a dedicated movie button, the camera also has a handy tilt-panel LCD for multiple viewing angles.

Priced at $349.99, the N100 will be available in May.
