What's This?

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Years after he was convicted for homosexuality and punished by chemical castration, computer scientist Alan Turing has received a posthumous royal pardon, the BBC reports. The Rockstar Consortium, which includes the likes of Microsoft and Apple, might be looking to sell 4,000 Nortel patents it acquired in 2011, Bloomberg reports. Jack Dorsey, cofounder of Twitter, has been elected to Disney’s board of directors. He will join the board as an independent director.
