If you're heading to the Sochi Olympic Games in February, you're going to have to leave behind your television, tennis racket and thermos.


Officials released a detailed list of prohibited items at the 2014 Winter Games. Many of the bans are standard safety precautions — no firearms, poisonous substances or highly flammable liquids allowed. But the exhaustive list also includes obscure and strange prohibitions.
