If Classic Books Had Internet Headlines

What's This?

Start a sentence with "this," throw an "epic" in there, add a pinch of "adorable" and end with a question mark — you've got yourself an Internet-ready headline.

It's annoying and repetitive, but the formula has proven to get clicks, so everyone keeps doing it.

So what if the authors of our favorite books participated in similar clickbait-y behavior? Book titles like Pride and Prejudice and The Catcher in the Rye would be sacrificed for epic-ly, buzzword-y, terrible headlines.

CollegeHumor imagined just that reality with hilarious remakes of popular books. Check out some below and the rest on their site.
