Camping takes flight amongst the trees with the Nubé hammock shelter.
Sierra Madre Research created the Nubé, which elevates campers off the ground while still providing shelter from rain and a storage space to house gear. When not in use, the 2.24 lbs hammock folds up and can be tucked away into a backpack.
A Kickstarter campaign launched in August hopes to get production of the Nubé off the ground. The campaign exceeded its initial $30,000 goal within three days.
Start planning your wilderness adventure — the Nubé ships in January 2014.
