NHL Fans Take Internet Revenge by Standing on Justin Bieber's Face

Justin Bieber made the sports world gasp a collective "Oh, hell no!" earlier this month when he posed for a photograph with the NHL's Stanley Cup trophy while on tour in Chicago.

Even worse? While taking his own photo of the hardware inside the NHL champion Chicago Blackhawks' locker room, he stood on the team logo plastered across the locker room floor to get his shot.

Blackhawks fans, and even some players, took this as a major sign of disrespect and a cardinal sin against NHL bro code. Now, three weeks later, a small rebel alliance of team supporters has channeled that umbrage to exact revenge on the Biebs, while putting on an Internet justice clinic in the process.

Three fans brought a cut-out of the pop star's face to the Blackhawks' annual fan convention this weekend. They placed it on the ground and invited others to stand of Bieber's oversized visage while taking photos to exact payback.

They even created a Twitter account, @StandOnBieber, to rally support, build the movement and, of course, share photos:

The fans behind the movement are Chris Wilkerson, Mark Wegener and Josh Kaye, according to the blog Puck Daddy .

“We don't appreciate bandwagoners,” they told the site in an email. “When we saw Justin Bieber not only stand on the logo, but touch the cup as well, we were astonished.”

Just one word of caution for the vigilante squad: Beliebers can be a vengeful bunch. NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson learned that the hard way after he was inundated with hateful tweets for criticizing Bieber's driving in their shared hometown of Calabasas, Calif., this May.

So tread lightly, young go-hards, but keep up the good work.
